Importance of Checklist

While we are busy doing our work, we sometimes forget the importance of having a checklist in place for various scenarios. I was no stranger to this. It’s only after I read “Getting Things Done” by David Allen few years back, did I realize the importance of having checklist. I learnt how it can benefit me immensely. In case you haven’t read it, I suggest you grab a copy of it  on Amazon/Flipkart or Audible.

Benefits of Checklist

Checklist helps us to complete the task faster and in a methodical manner.  Perhaps the most important part of having a checklist is that we don’t forget the crucial checks / items . Sometimes we slip these checks while we are busy focussing on other aspects of our work.

For our Web Development, Social Media & SEO projects we have created a detailed checklist for different scenarios.  We ensure that is is “checked” before the project is completed and handed over to the client. Our website development checklist  consists of more than 60+ checkpoints. Also its important to note a checklist though once created, need not be static.Our checklist for various services have changed over a period of time.Many items have been removed and added to ensure that we are not missing anything and stay current to new developments in our field.
